Tatiana Martinez, LPC is a trauma-informed psychotherapist and yoga instructor. She specializes in helping clients who suffer from extreme emotional dysregulation, mood disorders, complex trauma, personality disorders, and suicidal ideation. She has experience and training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed yoga. I am your partner and advocate in your mental health journey, and I know that taking the first step toward change requires courage, patience, and trust; I acknowledge that my clients are in need of nonjudgmental space in which they can feel free to explore these issues. My approach starts with a detailed intake process that can help inform treatment. I specialize in dialectical behavior therapy due to its emphasis on acceptance and change. Additionally, I am an eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) trained practitioner, and I incorporate EMDR into care with clients who wish to address their trauma in treatment. Furthermore, I am a yoga instructor and employ mind-body interventions to help regulate clients who experience their symptoms somatically.
